Mrs. Tanya Rucker (Young)

Tanya (Young) Rucker is a Master's Level Social Worker with over 25 years of experience providing care to severely mentally ill people, providing caregivers with emotional, financial and social support for their loved ones on hospice and providing safety, support and advocacy to children through the Department of Family and Children Services and school setting. 

Mrs. Tanya Rucker received her Bachelor of Arts and her Master's in Social Work and Criminal Justice from Grambling State University. Her work has allowed her to help others through conflict resolution, crisis management, community collaboration, and therapeutic support. Mrs. Tanya Rucker’s work has primarily involved working with students and families, impacted by trauma, and coping with economic hardship, and social, emotional, environmental, and school issues. Mrs. Rucker is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
