Dean of Academics

Ms. Andrea L. Nunn, Ed. S.

Ms. Nunn is a dedicated educator with over 25 years of experience, committed to fostering a love for learning and literacy across all educational levels. Originating from Detroit, MI, she graduated from the world renowned Cass Technical High School, and continued her undergraduate education at the prestigious Hampton University. Ms. Nunn holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Master’s in Teaching from Hampton University, alongside an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Mercer University.

Ms. Nunn has had the privilege of teaching in elementary, middle, and high schools, where she emphasizes the transformative power of literacy to shape young minds and empower students. Her teaching philosophy centers on creating engaging, supportive environments that encourage students to excel academically and personally. Ms. Nunn has proudly served the students and families in metro Atlanta for over 20 years.

Prior to serving in the role of Dean of Academics, Ms. Nunn served as an K-5 Literacy Instructional Coach, and the K-5 Literacy Coordinator for Atlanta Public Schools.

Currently, her work focuses on building teacher and leader capacity, as well as improving educational systems. Ms. Nunn is always eager to connect with fellow educators, caregivers, and those passionate about education's transformative potential.
